Terms of Service — Paradot AI

These terms set out the agreement between you and Paradot AI when you use this website and its companion chat features.

  1. 1. Acceptance of termsBy accessing paradote.com or using any Paradot AI feature, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
  2. 2. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Paradot AI.
  3. 3. Description of the serviceParadot AI provides entertainment-oriented companion characters that exchange text messages with users. The characters are fictional.
  4. 4. Fictional charactersAll companions, names, biographies and images presented on Paradot AI are invented. They do not represent real individuals, and no depiction should be interpreted as a real person.
  5. 5. Not adviceNothing a Paradot AI companion says constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for such matters.
  6. 6. Not a crisis serviceParadot AI is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services or a recognised helpline.
  7. 7. Account registrationYou are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  8. 8. Account securityNotify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account. You remain responsible for activity carried out through it.
  9. 9. One account per personAccounts are personal. You may not share, sell, transfer or operate multiple accounts to evade limits or restrictions.
  10. 10. Acceptable useYou agree not to use Paradot AI for unlawful purposes, harassment, impersonation, hate speech, or any activity that harms other users or the service.
  11. 11. Prohibited contentYou may not submit content involving minors, non-consensual acts, threats, violence, illegal goods or the personal data of others without permission.
  12. 12. No automated accessScraping, crawling, reverse engineering, automated querying and unauthorised interaction with our systems are prohibited.
  13. 13. Service integrityAttempts to bypass rate limits, disrupt availability, probe security or interfere with other users' access are grounds for immediate termination.
  14. 14. Your contentYou retain ownership of the messages you write. You grant Paradot AI a limited licence to process and store them solely to operate and improve the service.
  15. 15. Our contentThe site design, code, text, character profiles and images are owned by Paradot AI or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
  16. 16. Limited licence to youYou receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Paradot AI for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  17. 17. TrademarksThe Paradot AI name and logo may not be used without written permission.
  18. 18. Paid featuresWhere paid features are offered, prices, inclusions and billing intervals are shown before purchase and are payable in advance.
  19. 19. Subscriptions and renewalSubscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  20. 20. RefundsExcept where required by law, payments for delivered digital services are non-refundable. Statutory rights are unaffected.
  21. 21. Price changesWe may change prices. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance and may cancel before the new price applies.
  22. 22. Third-party servicesPayment processing, hosting and analytics are provided by third parties whose own terms apply to their portion of the service.
  23. 23. AvailabilityParadot AI is provided on an "as available" basis. Maintenance, updates or technical faults may interrupt access.
  24. 24. Modifications to the serviceWe may add, change or remove features, including companions, at any time.
  25. 25. Disclaimer of warrantiesTo the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  26. 26. Limitation of liabilityTo the extent permitted by law, Paradot AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill.
  27. 27. Liability capWhere liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Paradot AI in the twelve months before the claim arose.
  28. 28. IndemnityYou agree to indemnify Paradot AI against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
  29. 29. Suspension and terminationWe may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, and may refuse service to anyone.
  30. 30. Termination by youYou may stop using Paradot AI and request account closure at any time.
  31. 31. Governing law and disputesThese terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
